Quick check list with PF Government. They said they will reduce prices of commodities but they have all been going up. They said they will create employment and the records are there to see- wage freeze. They said they will enact a new constitution and we dont ve one. They said technocrats will lead key government institutions and we r able to see who is appointed in those positions, citizens are not even told where their President is a person they voted for, a President that does not call for any press conference and speak to his people, attorney general ratified by parliament but not sworn in, chief justice only acts, blotted government, worst currency performance since independence, wage freeze for civil servants, infights within their own party which is rulling, no industries opened we r still importing tooth picks from china, RDA run at state house and board chairman is a rulling party member, borrowing in the name of development is the order of the day with less revenue collection, mines not taxed properly- no windfall tax they promised, tourism not explored, health, agric, education less funded. People still sleeping on the floor in hospitals, price of mealie meal not even something to talk about, deficit in energy still the same- load shedding is daily, shanty compounds still not upgraded, markets, stations run by cadres and not the councils, in my constituency kabwata our MP people blindly sing about cant even put up a simple street light to enhence security, no resource centre, no modern market people still trade in make shift structures, poor roads, no security, few clinics the list is endless. I shed tears when I remember how Zambians celebrated and thought they were liberated and yet plunged themselves in troubles. For those not affected by the above who are enjoying with government they will not feel the pain. As NAREP we invite u to take a look at what we r able to offer starting from the calibre of leadership we have. We cant continue with this kind of governance if we want to develop this nation.
