Quick question for fellow music producers (or any other kind of sound programmer for that matter) Do any of you know a program or tool I can use that lets me separate certain sounds and FXs from a sampled track? Like, say if I took a sample from a Michael Jackson song for example. I like the singer, but I want to take out the background music and the percussion while keeping them as separate recycled samples. There’s a program or tool that lets me do that. However, I don’t know what the tool is called and neither do I know what music programs contain it. So I would really love for someone to tell me what that tool is called and what programs have it or where I can find one? Because a tool like that would REALLY come in handy for me right about now. Pleas? It would really help me out! :)
