Quick study of the Mostar Bridge in Bosnia. This summer we spent a few days in Bosnia. Here I was so profoundly impacted by the effects of religious intolerance. This bridge was built in the 1600s and bridged two different religious sects on opposite sides of a river. However, during the 1990s Bosnian War, the bridge was bombed/demolished. Fortunately, they have since rebuilt the bridge using modern technologies but trying to stay as close to the original design as possible. How sad, though, that in the name of My God is Greater than Your God a world treasure was lost. Preachy preachy. Sorry. Petty differences are just that - petty.
