Quick tip to look younger, lighter and more elegant..... Fix your Posture. Stand or sit up straight. Simple. Poor posture is a quick way to develop neck, back, shoulder, hip pain. But it also makes us look older and heavier. Proper posture isnt simply chest out and shoulders back. It is meant to feel natural and not forced, but if you have been lazy then it may feel slightly uncomfortable. Look in the mirror and adjust your body so that your chest is slightly raised, your shoulders are back but not fully contracted, your head is raised to a neutral position. An easy way to remind yourself about your posture is to read the word. Subconsciously whenever we hear someone say it or read the word, we adjust our bodies. If you are sitting at a desk all day put the word on a post it note, or if you stand at work set a reminder on your phone every hour to display the word posture. That way if you arent busy when you read it, you will more than likely take the time to adjust yours. The more often you practice good posture, the more natural it will feel and the more likely you will remain in it. It also assists in exercise. With correct posture you will allow yourself to maintain good breathing and not place your body into uncomfortable positions that are more likely to lead to injury. So remember ladies, work on better posture to stay youthful and reduce chances of pain developing.
