Quick update on Jezebel...shes doing well this morning. She was perky and ate a whole bunch of food, much to my relief. Her eyes are bright and no sign of the 3rd eyelid coming out to indicate shes sick. I also managed to get ALL the nasty knots out of her fur around her neck and she didnt throw a fit at all. I let her eat while I did that and she was distracted enough that she didnt really notice what I was doing but they are all gone now and her fur is smooth and soft again as it should be. I gave them wet food mixed with dry this morning, something I dont usually do, but I wanted to give them another dose of L-Lysine in their food and this is the only way I could do that since its in powder form. Usually they get only dry food in the morning and a fresh bowl of water, but I felt I had to make an exception for all their sakes, to get Jezzie better and prevent the rest of them getting sick. Evidently it has no taste because they ate so well this morning. Thankfully none of the other cats are showing any signs of this kitty cold, and hopefully they wont. Im so thankful that Jezzie doesnt appear to be getting any worse. I hope she got back in the kennel with Owen last night and kept warm in there but its hard to say. Whatever the case, she seems to be on the mend. Thank you for all your prayers and well wishes for her. Shes not over it yet but I think she will be fine in a few days. :-) Love me some Jezzie-belle!💝
