Quick update on my mom... she had her follow-up appt. with the family doctor today and he seemed very pleased with her progress, especially once he really studied what happened to her and what might have happened. Shes improving slowly but steadily each day. Still need prayers for complete healing of her vision (right eye issues) and the short term memory issues. Each day is better though, and we see God working in all of this. Prayers for me, as I have to give her injections twice a day and I, myself, am NOT a needle person. It is very difficult for me to do it, but I know it will help her in the long run. Thats the ONLY way I get through it. She says I do a great job and she doesnt even know Ive given the injection. Praise God for that. Yikes! I hate needles! Christmas - our first without Dad - was different but good. We had a lot to be thankful for just having Mother home and getting better. We are blessed with Spencer as a part of our family, and BUNCH of wonderful friends, family members, and a great pastor & church family who have been there for us and prayed for us steadily... and that is what has gotten us through. So keep em coming! Im 54 years old, but I still need my momma, so please do keep the prayers coming. Thank you all for the love, concern and support. God is good... all the time!
