Quilts of Valor National Sew Day The Executive Board of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is pleased to announce that February 1, 2014 – National Freedom Day in the United States – is being proclaimed –National QOV Sew Day too. On February 1, 2014, we will be stitching toward the 100,000th QOV and Throughout 2014, we will be stitching BEYOND the 100,000th QOV. Quilts of Valor Foundation National Sew Day Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 10 am to 4 pm Register at the QOVF site for national prizes. AND Attend the Eugene Sew Day Event for local prizes. Thimbles Fabric N More Pendleton, Oregon Bring lunch/snack. Bring a friend. There will be sewing kits and projects for everyone. Bring your sewing machines, we’ll provide the fabric. Don’t sew? Come and cut and iron fabric, greet guests, visit. All are welcome. Stay all day or come for a visit. Starting about Noon there will be quilt presentations to Combat Veterans For their service to our Country and for our Freedoms.
