Quit giving up so easily. A minor setback doesnt mean the end of the world, unless you make it so. Stop letting momentary failure cause you to assume defeat. You cant just throw in the towel after getting knocked down. Get back up and dust yourself off. Its only over, if you decide it is. Youre much stronger than you allow. Youre far more powerful than you assume. However, you hold yourself back out of fear. Dont be afraid, or youll never make any progress. Youre not weak and incapable. Youre not defined by the setbacks, mistakes, mishaps, and failures, unless you choose to be. Youre defined by your response and reaction to them. Choose to respond with strength, and boldly rise after every fall. Life is not what happens to you. Life is the action you take after something happens. If you choose to do nothing, and continually allow yourself to play the victim, then be prepared for a life of misery and suffering. To live, you must take action upon your life. Pain is inevitable, but suffering is a choice. Stop making excuses, and living as if your life is out of your control. It only seems that way, because youre not in control of yourself. Get disciplined, and raise your awareness. Get to know yourself. Understand who it is you really are underneath the mask you wear. Define your principles, ideals, and values. Commit to them, and make no exceptions. Every decision must be a reflection of the greater good. Dedication doesnt compromise. Live for a purpose, have a cause, and never give in.
