Quite a day. My friend, Howard, from South Bend, IN got away this morning after a few days visit. I have known him since our first few weeks as freshmen at Lindley Hall, U of I. We have known each other for 52 plus years. Then on to a great massage from Jennifer. Then to sign loan papers at the Credit Union (another whole story here), then to Numotion where they decided they will have to order a part for the chair, but the part for the scroll saw at KC Tools will not arrive until Monday. Then on to WholeFoods and then home. Three of my baseball players from the 1975 team visited for a few hours tonight. Just a great visit talking with these three great young men. They were so nice in their praise of me as their coach and teacher recounting many good plays and times. They assured me they are the better for having me as their teacher and coach. I shared with them my life over the past year. I cant imagine a better evening. Thanks Ron Coleman, Rod Hutchinson and Dan Thompson.
