Quluwbikum Assalamu Alaikum (Peace be upon you) Allah says: “You (O Muhammad (saws) can postpone (the turn of) whom you will of them (your wives), and you may receive whom you will. And whomsoever you desire of those whom you have set aside (her turn temporarily), it is no sin on you (to receive her again), that is better; that they may be comforted and not grieved, and may all be pleased with what you give them. Allah knows what is in your hearts. And [Allahu Aleem(aan), Haleem(aan)] Allah is Ever AllKnowing, Most Forbearing. SURAT AL-AHZAB (33) (The Confederates) CHAPTER 48. The Statement of Allah (TA): “You (O Muhammad {saws}) can postpone (the turn of) whom you will of them (your wives), and you may receive whom you will…”(V.33:51). 1761. Narrated ‘Aisha (raah): I used to look down upon those ladies who had given themselves to Allah’s Messenger (saws) and I used to say, ‘Can a lady give herself (to a man)? But when Allah revealed:- “You (O Muhammad {saws}) can postpone (the turn of) whom you will…..” (V>33:51). I said (to the Prophet {saws}, “ I feel that your Lord hastens in fulfilling your wishes and desires.” [6:311-O.B] May Allah keep us ever mindful of the human errors that we all have, (that is those of us that are human [wink]). Today is the fifth day of 10 and after Fajr this morning I took a long walk around the block. As I walked I pondered on the fool I made of myself simply expressing myself straight forwardly and truthfully a few days ago. I forgot that to most humans the truth is extremely difficult to except especially from a stranger (new kid on the block). For this error in my judgment, and desperately wanting to show and tell that I need a wife (not just yesterday but 9 years agosterday [smile], I made sincere Taubah to Allah and as humbly as I could publicly apologized to the Brothers and Sisters on FB AAMMC group and now you, because Allah told me to (after Istakarah). Any hoot I walked and pondered and as usual a Kazillion thought and words flooded my very small and slow at times mind. Please allow me to convey a few. I thought about a brother and sahabi who when I arrived here had two wives, one passed last December, the other ran away (leaving their 4 children with him plus 2 from his diseased wife making him a single widowed parent. He made constant dua for another wife to help him with these 6 and Allah answered his request with a Sister with 6 (out of 8) children of her own. About a month ago this brother and his oldest step son was picked up in a random sweep and detained for a few weeks this left his zawjr in an emergency situation. Two of the remaining 11 children went to the American Embassy and went back to America to live with their non-muslim grandmother (Subhana Allah). The brother ended up being deported his stepson went to Morocco to live with his Dad (another sahabi [1st AM I met after my son after arrival in Egypt] and 1st husband of 4 for the Sister [the 4th being this brother who was deported]). To make a long story short the Sister is struggling with a job, and caring for 9 children (5+4). I really feel for her constantly making dua for her and the children and for a second thought to ask her to make me #5, but did not because I knew two of her husbands and I’m very comfortable and in peace and tranquility here outside of Tanta. And I really hate Cairo and would never live there. So here I am asking for your prayers for this Sister, I would like to help her more but I feel Islamically all I can safely do is make dua. Allahu Alim, Halim. Any comments, suggestions, feedbacks are welcomed and appreciated. AlhamdulLillah, thank you for letting me share, ameen.
