Quota International of Grand Rapids is teaming with Barnes & Noble to host a fundraising Book Fair on Saturday, November 8 at the Woodland Mall retail store. The all-day event begins at 10:00 a.m. A portion of all purchases made in the store or in the B&N Café on Saturday or online at barnesandnoble from November 8-13, will be donated by Barnes & Noble to Quota for service projects to help the deaf and hard of hearing in West Michigan. On-line or in-store customers need to give Quota’s special Book Fair ID number 11465085 at check out. The day-long event will include several special activities including The Kid Print program by local law enforcement to give parents a simple way to keep their children’s fingerprints should they ever be needed in an emergency. In addition we will have story reading with sign language interpreters, book mark crafts for kids, cooking demonstrations and book signings from local and international authors.
