Quota of Shreveport and Louisiana ICES have an awesome weekend lined up for July 11 -14 at Icing on the Cake Competition. There will be classes, demos, vendors, a cake competition, and a DOS! Here is the demonstration line up for the DOS on Monday, July 14: 1. Ruth Rickey: Ruth will be showing step by step on how to create beautiful butterflies, then Ruth will show us how to make it look like they are placing drapes on your cake! 2. Sidney Galpern (Simi Cakes & Confections): Sidney will create a Summer Fun-Dolphin Jumping in the Sea, all with Isomalt! 3. Dawn Coffin- Parrott: Dawn will demo a beautiful Royal Icing Filigree Monogram Topper. A perfect addition to customize that special cake! 4. Kerri Kerri Partridge Morris: Kerri is going to take the basic Wilton molds &/or other molds and show different ways to use them. Get the most out of your molds. 5. EstaLee LeeAnn Larry Sessom: To be announced! 6. Sharon Sharon Brees Zambito: Sharon will be teaching a gorgeous two tier cake featuring gilded fondant rosettes and gold leaf wafer paper lace 7.
