Quote for the day: “The roughest roads often lead to the top” – Christina Aguilera. Bible Verse: For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing. (1 Peter 3:17) As long as we are in the world we shall have to bear pain and suffering. The Word of God says we are destined for it (1 Thessalonians 3:3) and so, if it is His will that we should suffer for the sake of righteousness, let us handle it joyfully, as we get yet another opportunity to magnify the name of our Lord in the midst of evil doers. (1 Peter 3: 17) Trials may come sooner or later but how we face it determines our witness for God. To grieve at a loss is natural, but when we stand firm in our faith God honours our faithfulness. In Philippians 1:12 Apostle Paul said that all what happened to him (the imprisonment) enhanced the popularity of the Gospel. He did not brood over his adverse situation but endured it joyfully. God’s ways are mysterious. Whatever He does or permits is entirely for our own good in the fulfillment of His plan and purpose. (Romans 8:28) The bee not only collects honey; it has a sting as well for some special purpose of its own. The thorns on the beautiful and fragrant rose are not put there without a purpose. Apostle Paul’s thorn in the flesh too was given for the fulfillment of some great and wise plan. God has an eternal purpose in all what He does/permits. in CHRIST PASTOR T.M.JOSEPH NEW LIFE MISSION-INDIA
