Quote of the day: One can organize outside of a defunct system, in order to displace said corrupt system with a better way of living in society with others. Fighting against something often makes it stronger and allows that system to tighten its stranglehold. If you wish to change things, often you must start to organize and create what you want instead of wasting valuable energy on fighting a system that doesnt respond to change. In fact, other than tiny steps one way or another... very little changes in this country. If we seek a dramatically different way of living from what our republic has become through commercialism, greed, and corruption... We need to organize and create our new society ourselves, eventually displacing this decaying juggernaut of corruption with something true, just, and powered by people wanting all people to thrive.
