R U Alive on DAY 25 as we pray for People in Kazakhstan & Oman today? @Pray4Kazakhstan @Pray4Oman Oman Air is in the ARABIAN PENINSULA... Teachers in Oman went on a strike which affected half a million students. The government is now considering standardizing pay grades, as well as banning strikes in essential services that include oil companies, refineries, ports and airports. Oman has also been working to increase Omani people in the workforce, thus relying less on foreign laborers. Pray for the government of Oman as it seeks to help its own people find employment. Pray for the creation of new jobs and economic prosperity. Pray for the Gospel of Jesus Christ to move forward in Oman (The Bible, Romans 15:16). Kazakhstan is in CENTRAL ASIA.... In 2013, the Kazakh government fined 119 people for practicing religion without government permission. The fines are around two months’ wages. If the fines go unpaid, the individuals are banned from leaving the country. According to Forum 18, some of the violations include “leading or meeting for worship without the compulsory state registration, selling or distributing religious literature which has not undergone state censorship and in a place which does not have a state license to sell religious materials, sharing one’s faith with others without being personally registered as ‘missionaries,’ and inviting others to attend religious meetings.” Pray for freedom of religion in Kazakhstan. Ask the Lord to provide financial blessings to those being fined. Pray for government officials to hear the Gospel and believe in Jesus Christ (The Bible, Romans 10:17).
