RABUN COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE PRESS RELEASE: DRUG ARREST 04/28/2014 On Friday, April 25, 2014, Mountain Judicial Circuit NCIS Agents from Rabun, Habersham, and Stephens Counties, along with the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office, Clayton Police Department, and Toccoa Police Department executed two search warrants at 616 Old Highway 441 South and 590 Old Highway 441 South in reference to on-going drug activity. The search warrants resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine, US currency, and a firearm. Arrested in conjunction with the search warrant was Troy Jefferson Butcher, 48, of Clayton, Georgia. Butcher was charged with three counts of: POSSESSION OF A SCHEDULE I OR II CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE. Butcher remains incarcerated in the Rabun County Detention Center on a $45,000.00 bond.
