@RAILAODINGA IS STRESSED, NEEDS A HUG: Via Fidel Jesus Recent remarks by former Prime Minister that the Kenyan military aided the Jubilee side into winning the March 2013 elections is irresponsible, reckless, malicious and unfortunate coming from a leader of his caliber and stature. I thought we had bashed the military enough after they stole water from Westgate. The enemy had a sly smile as they watched us lose faith in our troops. They rejoiced in creating a rift between citizens and the soldiers. They struck the shepherd hoping that the sheep would scatter. And just when we thought the dust had settled, here comes the former Prime Minister with his wild claims. By inciting his +5,340,546 voters against the military, what does Baba Fidel hope to achieve? Pity? Rebellion? I believe that soldiers are humans too and have some private feelings towards or against certain politicians. Baba Fidel ought to have some fans within the armed forces. I tend to think that Bondo or Kisumu is represented within the KDF by soldiers who now feel insulted by those wild claims. What kind of welcoming should they expect when they go home? Coming at a time when there is tension in South Sudan, Baba Fidel seems to be intent on creating a rift between his followers and the government of the day. By opening a new can of worms, Baba Fidel seems to be inciting Kenyans against the military. For a man who admitted in his Enigma in Kenyan Politics that he had a hand in the 1982 failed coup against the then government of D.T. Moi, we can only guess what he could be up to when he raises such remarks in his native language at the Jomo Kenyatta Grounds in Kisumu. Prior to the General Elections, Hon Raila Odinga was an EQUAL PARTNER in the grand coalition government. In fact, he was the principal supervisor of Govt functions. Unless he is saying that he was not competent enough to monitor or detect a plan by security or defense organs to rig him out as alleged. Baba Fidel is a serial complainant. He will blame anything and anyone for his misfortunes. I would not be surprised if he blames nurses for the current lack of rain and hot sun in the country. As the ceremonial leader of opposition, he will oppose everything too. Tumemzoea but amezidi sasa. Unfortunately for him, he seems to have no other option left for venting purposes, except to issue such inciting statements in public rallies. What happened or didnt happen on March 4th is now behind us. We should now be asking ourselves what next after the elections. Baba Fidel has always insisted that he is still a young man. So instead of throwing tantrums, he should be working on his strategy for 2018. He has a chance at a rematch with Uhuruto. As a football fan, Baba ought to know that there can only be one winner in a league. Either Arsenal or Chelsea but not both. The era of nusu mkate draws is gone and unless we change the constitution, we CANNOT have another PM. All he has to do is collect signatures and call for a referendum. It is understandable that he had injected millions into his campaign. Pesa orumo. He actually believed that he would win this thing. Opinion polls gave him an assurance of victory. It then came as a shocker to him that IEBC declared someone else as the winner. After running to the Supreme Court, Mutunga and his bench failed to declare him the winner. Baba Fidel is still mourning. He is depressed. He needs our love and not condemnation. We should sympathise with him before he starts blaming ECD teachers for his misfortune. Baba would make for an interesting case if he is taken to Frank Njenga. We could even have a condition named after him. We should pray for him before he starts blaming David Moyes for his denied victory. I suggest that he shouldnt be left to sleep alone in a dark room. He needs to be read the story of Baby Jesus before he sleeps. He should not be allowed to watch horror movies as this could affect the healing process. Perhaps he should try yoga. Or quail eggs. After winning back his Senate seat, Wetangula is more than ok. Having gotten more security and chase cars, brother Steve is enjoying life to the fullest. Yolo. On the other hand, Baba Fidel is depressed and needs a hug. I hope Wetangula and Kalonzo can sandwich him and give him a warm, tight, bear hug, whispering in his ears that all is well.
