RANT ALERT!!!!!! Didnt see Xfactor on Sunday, partly cause I was out for dinner with Hubatron but mainly because, well, I dont watch Xfactor. However having just seen Sir Bobs intro to the Band Aid 30, a little/lot of respect has been lost. Put aside the issues already raised re: his tax habits, the lyrical content and the painting of Africa/West Africa as a helpless, desolate people. Sir Bob, to on a television show you know kiddies are staying up for, it is sooooo irresponsible to say that Ebola could arrive here any day on a plane!!! Yes show the film, warn parents it may be hard to watch, but dont say it could be here tomorrow, cause although in theory it could, measures are in place to ensure it doesnt. Raise awareness, raise money but hold back on the fear, especially when little ones are watching! Also, please tell Bono not to reach out and touch them, its both pervy and ill advised, you condescending twat! Rant over 😳
