***RANT ALERT****. Ok so as many of you know, (hopefully all of you) weve started bombing Syria.now whether you agree that ISIS is indeed the threat we are told they are ( truth is they are a threat to Saudi Arabia and hence the selling of oil in dollars) were out bombing and KILLING people and Congress wont come back to even debate about it. Last week Speaker Boenher said that ISIS are Barbarians who intend to kill all of us and we have to stop them before they harm us. But he disagrees (of course) with Obamas strategy of bombing and believes that troops must be on the ground. Ok. an important disagreement, and perhaps valid.... so Congress must be in deep debate about it, right....WRONG. Cuz when Boehner was asked why Congress isnt voting on it, he said that with so many members of Congress walking out the door right now it wouldnt be the proper time. So lets wait...till the midterms- IN JANUARY. Thats 3 Months guys. 3 months of indiscriminate bombing, without a public Congressional Debate. Republican strategy was said best by Jack Kingston (R) A lot of people would like to stay on the sideline and say just bomb the place and tell us about it later,...its an election year. A lot of Democrats dont know how it would play in their party. Republicans dont want to change anything. We like the path were on now. We can denounce it if it goes bad, and praise it if it goes well and ask him what took so long. Why was Kingston so HONEST? Because he just lost his primary and will be leaving Congress! . As Jon Stewart said in a time of WAR our Congressional inaction is PURE POLITICAL CALCULATION. Our legislators refuse to debate publicly one of the biggest issues of our time for fear that we will HEAR THEM! This is an act of war. Again we are bombing people with ANY declaration of war. Killing people and Congress wont even TALK about it. This is your Government people. These are the same people who held our economy hostage with the raising of the debt ceiling. The same government that hands out corporate subsidies yet treats the poor like the mooching class. The same folks who yield to Big Pharma allowing our country to become pill popping zombies. The same congress that takes 3 months of vacation. The lovely guys and gals who voted to repeal Obama Care 54 times. The same Congress that wont enact basic gun control legislation. Wont talk about immigration reform. Wont DO ANYTHING. ANYTHING. ANYTHING. Who pays their salary..YOU DO. Imagine you owned a business and your employees refused to show up....
