RANT ALERT: To the woman that just won £600 on the radio for doing nothing...I hate you, and I hope you have a horrible time in egypt with all your spending money and new bikinis...anyone tell Im feeling slightly bitter this glorious thursday morning? WHY DOES MY DEGREE COST £9000 A YEAR?! I best be decorative arting David Camerons gaff for spending that sort of cash on a special bit of destroyed tree made into a bit of paper, that I bet they dont even frame for me! And on top of that Ill still have to buy pencils, paper, fabric and all the things I NEED to complete the degree. When people say to me why are you living at home? Living in the halls is all part of the experience! Im sorry that I dont want to live in nottingham spending an extra £3000 a year when I already live in nottinghamshire and might as well sleep in my own bed and spend the same money on travel and being able to go wherever I want on the odd occassion I do go out. I find it so hard to justify going to uni to get a degree and defend university students when it costs so much and most students are spending it on CRAP! How can people moan about doll dossers claiming benefits shitting pretty or politicians getting a raise everytime they manage to piss in the toilet properly when its costing me £9000 to learn to do something that I can probably do without a degree but employers wont acknowledge me unless Ive BOUGHT myself a qualification!! I thought growing up we were taught to work hard to get what we want and people post all these go hard or go home pictures, and I like to think I work hard to get what I need and then some, but how is badically just paying my way to get a good job to pay back what I had to borrow to get a good job to pay for people to shit pretty and reward people who piss properly all just to get by HOW IS THAT WORKING HARD??? You can do bare minimum and just scrape a degree these days and yet employers are convinced that their employees must have a degree to earn a certain amount of money! But how are students who spend their MAINTENANCE LOAN (definition: to be used for travel, books, living expenses) on expensive festivals where they get drunk in mud and getting drunk every night of the week in expensive halls that are trashed from previous students doing the same thing, how are they good employees just because they have this fancy bit of paper??? It means nothing, costs everything and for most people either gets you nowhere or if youre lucky puts you right at the top to get a nice wage packet that gets cut in half, to pay for doll dossers, politicians and everything else THAT IS WRONG WITH THE WORLD. I do apologise if my far fetched opinions offended I dont mean to be rude or upset, and Im not one to judge anyone on there living circumstances, however youve been raised and however hard it is to get jobs and for whatever reason youre on benefits and if someone can correct these inperfections then please do. I genuinely want to be proven wrong.
