RANT OF 21ST CENTURY FEMINISM There is nothing worse than having a conversation with a so called feminist who clearly have no idea what feminism mean. Just because you come to the defense of a woman being publicly attacked for saying or insinuating asinine sentiments doesnt make you a feminist. I give DREADFUL side eyes to MOST 21st century feminist because the feminist movement is racially divided. Ive seen way to many times when black and brown feminist were silenced by white feminist (and outright attacked) because their sentiments didnt benefit the advancement of white woman. Like Toni Morrison said: There would be a room full of feminist and yet they left their black maids home. The term womanist, made popular by Alice Walker, is more fitting because that movement actually does encompass the ascension of ALL woman with a zero in on causes that relate to woman of color. Since there was no movement for black and brown women they created their own. And I LOVE that.
