RANT TIME! what really bugs me are those people that walk around wearing the geek and nerd hoodies, t-shirts, jumpers, etc... im sorry but since when did having those titles make you popular? when i was in highschool geek and nerd were insults that went along with more verbal and physical bullying because i was different i had to endure 7 years of hell every day being called those and more and now, i look back and say, you know what im proud. im proud to be a geek and a nerd, im proud to be overly obsessed with things that most people either dabble in or dont care about. but i earned that title, i earned it by striding through hell and crawling out scarred but alive i dont need to have the titles emblazoned across my chest to show that im a geek or a nerd. I show that with my personality, my actions and my various fandom related t-shirts you people who wear those geek and nerd clothes havent earned the right to call yourselves by that title. you insult those of us who have finally grown to fit those stereotypes and be proud. You dont care about what we do, you arent obsessed with the things you use to mock us for. Yet there you go... by wearing that your proving yourself to be exactly what you were during those 7 years. and i bet that if we were to walk up to you and try to talk, all you would do is mock us more. call us weird and freaks And thats wrong... its a twisted irony of wrong. Ive earned my title, and in doing so have become proud with what i am. When you experience what i have, then and only then do you have the right to wear that. and i bet you wont because like me youll have no need....
