RASON Plans Ogwashi Uku Talent Hunt RASON Sports International has perfected plans to host a one-day football talent hunt programme in Ogwashi Uku, Delta State, to be tagged Total Football Talent Hunt. The programme, which will come up November 15, 2013 will be held at the Jay Jay Okocha Stadium, Ogwashi -Uku in Delta state. Registration for the talent hunt is free and successful players will have the chance to undergo trials with Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) and Nigeria National League (NNL) clubs as scouts and managers of different clubsides will be in attendance. The time for the programme is 8am and footballers within and around Ogwashi -Uku are expected to turn out in their large numbers for the one-day event. Speaking to us concerning the event, Evangelist John Ofulue who is the programme coordinator maintains that they have put in place every necessary arrangement for the success of the programme and they expect all talented footballers within the area to take advantage of this opportunity to take their career to the next level. “We are not new to this area, we have organized various talent hunts in this axis in the past so we understand the terrain and mindset of the people here, which is important for a successful event. “But we are not relying on just that alone which is the reason we have put other things in place to guarantee a successful event. “We expect that all good and talented footballers within the area will take advantage of this opportunity to move their career forward,” he said.
