RAVE: I have to give Pet Town and the amazing ladies that work there, a HUGE shout out. My daughter had been wanting a bearded dragon for years and finally (while we were still living in Nevada) I caved and got her one in June for an early bday present. The lady at the pet store there in Nevada reassured me over and over again that I had gotten everything I would need for it when I made that purchase. When we moved back home to Port Orchard in August, the lizard had not been growing much, started becoming less and less active, and started showing signs of having metabolic bone disease (osteoporosis in humans). With a very worried daughter on my hands and trying to figure out how I was going to fix this, googling all kinds of information about lizards and this disease, I was beginning to resign myself to the idea of having to spend $$ on vet visit for a lizard. Oh geeeeeze. I ended up going to pet town and saw they had reptile products and decided to ask them questions. The lady working that day (early September) asked me about my lighting, temperature, etc in the terrarium. Apparently, I didnt have everything I needed after all and wasnt providing this poor lizard the correct lighting and it was causing the lizard to develop this disease. After getting the correct lighting set up that she had suggested to me, the lizard no longer is suffering from this disease at all and has grown double its size in almost 2 months. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Pet Town. They saved the day and made a young girl very happy :-). I will not go to any other pet store now. They have definitely earned repeat business from me.
