RCMP and fire crews in Peace River were called out to a railway accident late yesterday afternoon, however, in this case, no train was involved. Fire Chief Lance Bushie says a three-ton high-rail truck was pulling two cars filled with gravel when its brakes reportedly failed. It collided with another CN vehicle at the level crossing behind the Esso station. One of the drivers was treated for minor injuries. CN is investigating.
