RE: Brat, this past week for your organization, OVERSEAS BRATS (OSB) 10/4/13. Hi Brat Friends! BRAT HEROINE: Donna Musil (Bad Kreuznach ES-Seoul HS-Taegu HS-Fort Knox HS) did the Brat community a great service because she invested a number of years and resources in a film project called, “Brats: Our Journey Home,” part of which was filmed at OSB’s Homecoming’99 in Dallas in August 1999. Her documentary about the Brat experience is the first such film project about the Brat experience. Between 2006 and 2009, Donna showed the film and lead the discussion – both the pros & cons about the Brat experience and the film – at major OSB events. Her documentary film has helped drawn more interest in the general American population into who we are as Brats. BRAT INSIGHT: Between October 8-18 I’ll be away and offline hosting the OSB Gathering in Laughlin, NV and visiting Colorado Springs to discuss with the hotels about our upcoming Homecoming 2016. The Gathering is a ‘real experience’ of ‘real Brats’ meeting in a ‘real location’ to be with ‘real family.’ Social media has done wonders to unite us, but being Brats we need to be with ‘real’ people in ‘real time.’ Welcome this past few week to ‘Newbie Brats’ (to this page)….. Paula Hanaway How can we help you? :-) Among the things that happened this past week for OSB were... *Still more work on OSB updates and publications. *Practically every breathing moment was spent working on the ”Southern Nevada Gathering,” October 10-13, 2013 in Laughlin, NV. -80 registered/94 schools/bases/communities represented/128 Brats interested. *Always trying to think up ways to get more Brats involved.
