RE: Cecily McMillans Sentencing, this morning~ One of the most interesting things, this morning, in the Courtroom, was how scared shitless the NY Court System is, of OCCUPY. ~ Cecily McMillans court room has 2 sides of the aisle, with a total of 14 rows of seats, with dividers, so each pew holds 7 people. Do the math. Thats 98 seats. Well over 200 of our peeps showed up, but about 12 of the seats were taken by suits (maybe some sort of Feds, who flashed some thing (?) and got in before us, for the front rows, and Assistant D.A.s, and some reporters, leaving 86 seats, for us, and shutting out well over 130 of Cecilys supporters. So, we had about 86, of us, and 55 Court Cops standing all around the perimeter, and another dozen cops, outside the court room, and about 6 more, on the BIZ side of the court room, who were blocking all but the occasional glimpse of Cecilys Code Pink colored outfit. Considering that nearly half of the folks in attendance were elderly, and nearly all of us were NON violent, it was all I could do to limit myself to smirks, as the vaunted NYPD Intel (oxymoron of oxymorons) Unit really blew this security call. After 12 years of Bloomberg, and his backing of 1% LEGACY Lawyer, NYC D.A. Cy Vance (his daddy was Secy of the Army, when I was in Viet Nam), Bloomie STILL has the juice to stack the Court System against OCCUPY, and crush anything else that may challenge the International Ruling Class economic powers.
