RE EBOLA: JUST POSTED BY MY FB FRIEND Jeanne Sherrod: I just finished watching a House sub committee hearing on the Ebola outbreak. It was eye opening. Ken Isaacs from Samaritan Purse gave testimony that the virus is uncontained, uncontrolled and apocalyptic in Liberia. He said if ONE MILLIMETER OF SKIN is exposed in the presence of an infected person you will get it. The other Dr from SIM said if you are in the presence of someone infected and you have no protective gear on, you will get it. So much for just getting it from touching bodily fluids. Isaacs said the International communitys response has been a total failure. They have been ignoring and even denying the viciousness of this virus. Not until two US Drs contracted it did they take notice. He also said that there are 350 Peace Corps workers coming home from West Africa that the CDC WILL need to deal with. He also said that if they dont contain there it will come to other countries. He then said he was afraid the cat had already been let out of the bag.
