RE: Gravity. You know, I had a revelation today. I maintain its still poor writing in general. Sandra Bullocks character was cheesy. However, I think its not so much that I cant get over the factual errors or writing lacking real maturity. The reality is I subconsciously need to find the errors to reassure myself it couldnt be real. After all, someday it will be my job to accept the responsibility of making sure it doesnt happen in real life. I know and work with people who were on console for the Columbia accident, and its extremely difficult to hear them talk about it. And also I dont want to be the TOPO who sleeps through the page from the Air Force that some urgent imminent threat is coming. But Im a stress junkie, and these are my occupational hazards Ive adopted in serving my country and keeping all our crews safe in the name of science and international brotherhood.
