RE-HOMING: BEAUTIFUL MAINE COON KITTENS (Mother & Father are not pure-bred Maine Coon...but have major characteristics) They were not bred to make a profit...we started fostering these cats after they mated. These kittens were born on April 10, 2014... They will be old enough to be spayed or neutered when they are 6 months old (October 10, 2014)... We prefer that you agree to be a responsible pet owner in having them spayed or neutered as part of the re-homing deal. THEY ARE LITTER TRAINED & HAVE BEEN WORMED.... THESE KITTENS ARE VERY PEOPLE ORIENTED! THE MAINE COON BREED IS NOT JUST AN ORDINARY CAT:...They are independent, smart & loyal companions! The coat falls smoothly, and is almost maintenance-free: a weekly combing is all that is usually required to keep it in top condition. One of the oldest natural breeds in North America, the Maine Coon is generally regarded as a native of the state of Maine (in fact, the Maine Coon is the official Maine State Cat). A number of attractive legends surround its origin. A wide-spread (though biologically impossible) belief is that it originated from matings between semi-wild, domestic cats and raccoons. A full-grown female typically weighs between 9-12 pounds and males tend to be in the 13 to 18 pound range. We have lots of stories we can share with their new family... Please PM ME....
