It is that time of the year that we need to collect items for our Christmas Love Boxes going to our soldiers. We are putting our requests out earlier this year so maybe some church groups or other organizations would have time to post this message and help us with our drive. If you just take a walk thru your home, I am sure you could find many of the items we are looking for. We appreciate any thing you can help us with. We also are going to need money for shipping the boxes. Last year we sent 34 boxes and we are hoping that we will be able to send more this year. Beef jerky Sunflower seeds and Nuts Chewing gum Long-distance phone cards Little Debbie’s snacks Ziploc double seal bags (for keeping things airtight, watertight, and fresher) Coffee, Tea Bags and Hot cocoa mix Woman personal needs (pads, tampons, etc) - Our Military use Tampons to Stop Bleeding on the Wounded too! Gatorade Jaw breakers Poker game, Dominoes, Playing cards, Dice, hacky-sac Music CDs Toothbrushes & toothpaste Inflatable pillow Cookies or muffins in individual packages (Big bags often fill with dust if not eaten right away.)
