RE PRAYER: I left the house recently. On my way out, I caught a glimpse of the news about the disaster and devastation in the Phillipines. I decided that I was going to pray over the problem during my drive, but when I got in the car, I thought about how enormous the problem was, and I struggled with trying to figure out where to start in my prayer. Then this understanding concerning prayer came to me... Sometimes a problem can seem so enormous that it becomes intimidating and threatens your faith to receive answers through prayer. Huge problems can make you feel as if you cant pray a prayer big enough to tackle the magnitude of it. But never allow the size of a problem to alarm you into spiritual silence. No matter how big the problem, God is ALWAYS bigger. Take your eyes off the problem and trust in HIM. It only takes faith the size of a mustard seed to bring down a mountain. Small prayers can produce big answers. He (Jesus) replied, ...Im telling you the truth, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to there and it will move. And nothing will be impossible for you. ~ Matthew 17:20
