RE my earlier post To all the people whom I pissed off... (pasted below): I forgot to mention that the issues re the hospital were ALL started by the VERY SAME POLITICIANS you are currently protecting by censoring my posts (Tony Clement, John Baird, Jim Flaherty, et. al) So, good luck with that, eh. :) My earlier post: To all the people whom I royally pissed off today with my post on Bill C-23 - the (Un)Fair Elections Act - particularly those in Brampton. All your push-back, whining, complaints, baiting and censoring of my post, Id like to say, is reminiscent of the fight against the P3 Hospital of 10 years ago. So, lets re-examine what happened with that. 1) The people of Ontario paid $350 Million more for our Brampton Civic Hospital than Peterborough paid for their fully publically funded hospital of similar size and capacity. And, the Peterborough Hospital came in ON BUDGET and ON TIME. Is the Civic even operating at capacity yet?! 2) Seven years after closing the doors of the Peel Memorial Hospital, Brampton STILL only has one hospital (that may or may not be operating at capacity) and our population grows and grows daily. 3) WHEN the Peel Memorial opens under a new name, will it have ANY of the beds originally demanded by the people of Brampton and promised by all the politicians? But you carry on with your keep politics out it mealy-mouthing - YOULL be whining in a few years time. GUARANTEED
