READ AT YOUR OWN RISK (if you still believe in Santa) As a 16 year old adolescent,I, like many others, stopped believing in the legend of Santa Claus a while ago. Despite that, I have decided to answer this question (scientifically): How can he deliver presents to the whole earth in one night? -Lets say that there are 1 billion houses that Santa has to deliver to in 24 hours. Unfortunately, he would have to be at each house for an infinitesimal amount of time. If he was at each house for 1 minute, and had the ability to travel at the speed of light, therefore creating a teleporting speed, it would take him about 1,900 years to deliver to 1 billion houses. -Even if he was at each house for 1 second, it would take him about 32 years to deliver. -The fact of the matter is, if he were to deliver to all of the houses in 24 hours, he would have to be at each house for 86.4 microseconds. That means he would have to deliver to 11,574 houses in a single second. It would be impossible for him to do everything that the legend says that he does in that amount of time, or to do anything at all in that amount of time. Time travel would be impossible, because even if he was traveling at the speed of light, the time traveled backwards would be a matter of less than a second, because he is going a very small (relative) distance.
