READ ME PLEASE!!! When most guys say I love independent ladies what they actually mean is I love girls that dont ask me for money. Many guys claim they love independent ladies whereas they dont. The truth is most guys are intimidated by Independent Ladies. I cant count how many times Ive heard guys say that girls who are established lack respect and wont make good wives. They are scared of independent women and feel that if she is independent he wont be able to exert his manly authority and power. He figures he wouldnt be able to subdue her and take advantage of her because she has a life without him. Most men love ladies who are nothing without them, the women they can push around and she wouldnt be able to fight back or quit the marriage because she has no footing. Look at many single African ladies who are independent. Most of them are lonely, no love life and those with love lives most of the time are faced with the tragedy of watching their lover running off to marry a less financially befitting lady. When we hear such news we say Ehen, she must be too proud or without respect cuz shes rich, whereas the truth is that she intimidated the guy with her wealth and independence and not by her attitude. Note: am referring to ladies who worked for their money not those that inherited it. When a lady makes her money parents tell her, be sure to not live in a fancy house so as not to scare suitors away, dont buy a car because it will scare suitors away. Looking at it its true, independent women really intimidate most African men. You see a lady with wonderful character and lovable spirit growing old single, her crime? Shes independent!!! African men prefer a lady who has something doing but isnt too influential, successful but not too successful. They want a woman to match his ego and wouldnt make him feel threatened. When next you hear guys scream Ladies, learn to be independent, what exactly he might be trying to say is Stop asking me for money. Ladies, be successful, reach for higher grounds, reach for the skies dont let society hold you down besides men who are intimidated by success shouldnt be the type of men you want in your life anyway.
