READ THIS BEFORE YOU TALK ABOUT CHRISTIANITY - The New Testament is not Gospel of Jesus. It is gospel about Jesus. It is not the Injil (Evangel) that was revelation to Jesus from on High. Out of the total of 27 Books of the New Testament; more than half is authored by Paul. The Master has not written a single word of the 27 Books. If you can lay your hands on what is called A Red Letter Bible, you will find every word alleged to have been uttered by Jesus - in red ink and the rest in normal black ink. There is no original Aramaic Text of Christian canonical or non-canonical Bible. Hence, application of the word ‘textual’ is irrelevant. Moreover, missing Greek copy makes the fact serious problematic. Yet the King James Version has grave defects. By the middle of the nineteenth century, the development of Biblical studies and the discovery of many manuscripts more ancient than those upon which the King James Version was based, make it manifest that these defects are so many and so serious as to call for revision of the English translation. - Preface to KJV 1971 The concept of eyewitness evangelists is no longer defensible, although numerous Christians still retain it today. Jesus was not English. Jesus did not know English. God is an English word which came into use in 6th century. Jesus never uttered the word God. Jesus was a man of Judea. Jesus native language was Aramaic. Jesus called his Maker and Creator by the name of Rabb, which in course of time changed to Abb, meaning father. Jesus also called his Rabb by the name of Allaha, Eli (Matthew 27.46) and Eloi (Mark 15.34). Eli is in Hebrew Elohim, meaning Lord, Arabic Ilah (Sovereign). Properly read, the Bible is the most potent force for atheism ever invented. - Isaac Asimov
