READ THIS EVERYONE.. its a confession that everybody needs to make.. We always dream about the future. What we want to be, what we plan to buy, and what we hope to achieve. We spend hours planning the next hours and then the next hours planning the hours following it. Rarely do we live the moment...this very moment. Were always stuck in between the guilt of our past and the aspirations for our future...as if the present is inexistent. We look forward to Ramadan but dont want to fast today. We want to wake up for qiyam al-layl but forget to pray the nafl after our obligatory prayers. We tell ourselves we want to give in charity when our money comes 20 days from now but we dont want to take RS 100 out of the RS 1000 we have today. We open our calendars not considering today as a day but we always begin counting from tomorrow. A reminder: fast, pray, donate, learn, hug, reflect, and smile today. This is the only day that exists so far. A Reminder first and foremost to myself!!
