READ THIS IF YOU CARE ABOUT THIS SITE: In the last several days there has been an on going battle between two groups of people on this site. If you have been on here at all you cannot have missed it. As far as this comment goes that is the last time that will be mentioned here. Both sides have messaged me and both feel the other is the transgressor while they are the victim. I dont side with either side because frankly none of this should have been here in the first place. This site has one purpose and one purpose only....to celebrate Newport Beach and more specifically to celebrate Newport Beach BEFORE the OC. If I dont step in and deal with this now sooner or later this group will start dividing into camps and before long the site falls apart. I went through earlier and deleted the posts that carried on this feud and I consider that everyone has a clean slate. From now on stick to the spirit of the site. The biggest disagreement should be between frozen bananas vs. balboa bars or Harbor vs. Corona del Mar. Now, let me put some teeth in it. If you use this site to be intentionally derogatory or inflammatory either in posts or comments be prepared to find another site to join because you will be gone permanently from this one. I truly believe in Freedom of Speech but I will be damned if i will let this site be taken down, from within, by petty differences, comments and actions. If you feel I am being dictatorial, fine. Honestly, feel free to go. My job is to make this site enjoyable for the 99.99% of the people who see it for what it is not for the 0.01% who cant understand their grievances and comments have no business being here. I hope I have made myself abundantly clear and that this is the last time I ever have to write something like this. Tom Stillwell
