READ THIS IN FULL HASSAN JOHO may lose his seat; he used a FAKE and stolen degree certificates. Mombasa Governor Hassan Ali Joho is in deep trouble for cheating his way up to the Governor’s post. This is after it emerged that Joho used fake and stolen degree certificates that belonged to someone else to seek clearance from IEBC to contest in the Mombasa Gubernatorial seat. According to authorities in Uganda and officials from Kampala International University, where Joho claims to have acquired his degree from, the Mombasa Governor never went to school there because there is no record of him in the institution. The institution said Joho never attended any class, never did any exams and never got any Business Management degree certificate from Kampala International University. The authority further said that Joho collaborated with management of the University to doctor the degree certificate belonging to one Mr. Hassan Ali, and superimposed letter J to suit Joho’s three names. This is not the first time Joho’s academic credentials are in doubt because Jane Mbete had earlier raised objections on Joho’s academic papers. According to Mbete, Hassan Joho failed in Form Four only managing to score a D plain, which could not secure him admission in any Kenyan University. It is at this point that Joho went to Uganda that if he proceeded directly to enroll in any University, then his graduation would be coming up this September and not February as his papers indicate. This are very serious allegations that the Commission on Higher Education is looking into that if proved, Joho will lose his seat as Mombasa Governor.
