READER QUESTION My husband is currently deployed on almost a year long deployment. Recently after many long months of not seeing him he got to take leave to see our youngest son after he was born. A couple of months after that my 3 year old he been going through a lot of issues. Hes been acting out - yesterday while i was nursing the baby he got into glitter and food coloring dumped syrup all over the floor and thats just not like him, hes not listening to me anymore, and the worst of it hes saying he doesnt love daddy anymore and doesnt want him to come back home. It breaks my heart because they used to have such a close bond and Im at my wits end. I have 3 sons 5,3 and 3 months. How can I get him to listen to me again and put his little mind at ease. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Do we have any other parents with partners who work away? How do you manage while solo parenting? And how do you manage the transition when your partner comes home, or goes away again?
