REALEXPERIENCE IN KOREA INSTALMENT 5 : VIETNAMESE STORES If comparing to quantity, it’s crowded of Vietnamese who live in Korea. However, it’s difficult to findout Vietnamese shops, stores like this. In Saigon, you can easily figure out lots of Korean shops and inns along with Hau Giang, Thang Long street, K300 area on the Cong Hoa street (Tan Binh district) or the Phu My Hung new city of district 7 (the South of Saigon). Since there’re some differences of living standards, targets, Vietnamese living in Korea are almost women who get married with Korean husbands, laborers and some of overseas students…so it’s rarely to see something with Vietnamese brands. Rapidly, some Vietnamese wives or laborers who lasted many years of working here begin todo business, they opened stores to sell Vietnamese products. It’s more expensive than the prices in Vietnam because it’s import products. Pho, Hu Tieu…are traditional dishes of Vietnam but you can find them in Korea in stores of Vietnamese or Koreans. In this Korea land, there’s not much of various vegetables or spices as Vietnam, so Pho, Hu tieu are not delicious as we enjoy in Vietnam.
