He then demonstrated often from history why they amounted to nonsense. 4.0 out of 5 stars Great summary of bible questions, October 18, 2014 By Reuben Ray - This review is from: NONSENSE FROM THE BIBLE (Kindle Edition) Great summary of things to question in the bible in short format. 5.0 out of 5 stars Fact vs Fiction, October 10, 2014 By Les - This review is from: NONSENSE FROM THE BIBLE (Kindle Edition) With the state of the world as it is, we need many other such well-researched publications. One group declares war on another group simply because each group believes something that the other group does not. Any book that gives the reader the TRUTH about inspired writing might--just might--allow all of us to live in a more peaceful world -- free from religious biases/hatreds... This book does a great job...no opinions (well, hardly any), just straight facts. 5.0 out of 5 stars THINK, October 9, 2014 By William Boyle - This review is from: NONSENSE FROM THE BIBLE (Kindle Edition) concise and proves what he says with direct quotes from the bibles 4.0 out of 5 stars this book show the level of how much we learned ..., October 5, 2014 By Roy Bowden - This review is from: NONSENSE FROM THE BIBLE (Kindle Edition) this book show the level of how much we learned to accept ideas that does not make sense, maybe in the old days when people did not know about todays science and world history.Half of what religious literature explained is nonsense therefore we need to discard without fear those teaching one by one. 4.0 out of 5 stars Like most atheists, they werent always that way. At some point, you just cant believe anymore. Great, great examples of why., October 3, 2014 By A. O. Reason (New York) - This review is from: NONSENSE FROM THE BIBLE (Kindle Edition) I use this in Kindle fashion, to cut and paste the finer points of the Bible and why I dont believe a word of it. A scathing approach to the actual Bible from a former believer. You will see why. 5.0 out of 5 stars and full of useful information. There is a little nit-picking in spots, October 1, 2014 By Amazon Customer - This review is from: NONSENSE FROM THE BIBLE (Kindle Edition) This is a well written and entertaining book. The authors wit comes through in many places. It is very informative, and full of useful information. Saves a lot of time. In a few minutes, what would take many, many hours in reading time, can be learned in a short read. 5.0 out of 5 stars Former Sunday School Teacher, September 17, 2014 By Krkimbr - This review is from: NONSENSE FROM THE BIBLE (Kindle Edition) Often during my times as a believer, I would have these thoughts of god being a crazy individual. Many occasions I would secretly think how can god be this way and not be insane. As an individual who would read the bible from cover to cover several times a year, I reached a point in my own life when my prayers, and those of others went unanswered at a time when I needed the most help. I finally came to the conclusion that the bible did not have the answers, and god doesnt exist or didnt care about me. Also, I began to see more and more the various contradictions in the bible and it became more and more difficult to reconcile these contradictions and inconsistencies that I eventually became an atheist. Brians book provides a concise easy to read review of the bible from a critical viewpoint. Once logic, reason and critical thinking is applied to the bible it cant stand up. Brians book is a great book that provides that review and proves that the bible is merely a book of myths. 5.0 out of 5 stars Five Stars, September 13, 2014 By james buffaloe - This review is from: NONSENSE FROM THE BIBLE (Kindle Edition) Excellent, every bible thumper should read it, but they never will. 5.0 out of 5 stars Five Stars, September 13, 2014 By Rebecca Call - This review is from: NONSENSE FROM THE BIBLE (Kindle Edition) Very satisfying. 5.0 out of 5 stars Great examples., September 11, 2014 By Rick R. - This review is from: NONSENSE FROM THE BIBLE (Kindle Edition) Confirmed what I thought I knew. Great examples. PLEASE SEE ALSO - My latest book NONSENSE FROM THE BIBLE - HANDBOOK OF VERSES [Kindle Edition] Brian Baker (Author) Publication Date: May 10, 2014 The purpose of this Handbook is to provide a source of reference and information for anyone seeking interesting and controversial bible verses. Many of the verses may not be generally known by many Christians or usually heard in church or quoted by Televangelists. This is not an exhaustive list of verses of each subject as I have not included those which are repeated in other texts or are not applicable to the form of this list. Neither is this book intended to be a ‘bible commentary’ although some subjects and verses that require some additional explanation have added comment. amazon/NONSENSE-BIBLE-HANDBOOK-Brian-Baker-ebook/dp/B00K9SUUTY/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1414136971&sr=1-1&keywor
