RECEPTIONIST/PERSONAL ASSISTANT Position Currently Available BHD is currently seeking candidates to fill our Receptionist/Personal Assistant position for an immediate start. This position is fulltime Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5.06pm. POSITION OBJECTIVE: To provide administrative and clerical support to, Managers/Supervisors/ Co-Workers, in order to achieve effective and efficient operations. POSITION DUTIES: - Answer phones and direct calls and inquiries; - Take and promptly deliver accurate phone messages; - Welcomes all visitors and assists them with their inquires; - Maintain a clean and safe reception area; - Update internal phone directories as required; - Word processing of correspondence and other documents; - Maintain office files; - Receive, sort and forward incoming mail; - Arrange any travel and accommodation when required; - Assist with clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating; - Purchase and order staff uniforms as required; - Recording of meeting minutes; - Manage company website and company social media THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT MUST HAVE: - Current Qld C Class driver’s license; - Office administration and/or support experience; - Strong administrative and organisational skills and ability to prioritise and handle multiple functions; - Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) - Strong communication skills, oral and written, interpersonal communications, tact, good judgement and analytical skills; - Excellent presentation and facilitation skills; - Demonstrated commitment to position and tasks; - Ability to work independently on own initiative with minimal supervision; - Ability to respond positively to change and maintain flexibility; - Understanding of and ability to maintain confidentiality; - Demonstrable enthusiasm for working with varied client group with an understanding and awareness of the diverse culture of the organisation; - Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and positive demeanour; - Reliable and punctual attendance and clean, tidy and professional presentation.
