RECKLESS INJIVA ALMOST CAUSES FATAL ACCIDENT In a moment of the worst madness that can be imagined, an Injiva nearly caused the death of 16 people in an extremely unnecessary road accident in the Bulawayo Central Business District. The crazy Injiva, as Zimbabweans living in South Africa are called, came driving at a high speed opposing traffic in the one way 6th Avenue before hitting the Kombi on the side forcing the Kombi to overturn throwing some of the passengers out of the vehicle on to the road. Several people were ferried away in ambulances that responded to the call in time. The Injiva whose 4X4 Nissan Hardbody vehicle suffered very minimal damage was lucky to be rescued from public attack by members of the ZRP who were near by when the accident occurred. The driver of the South African registered vehicle who did not sustain any injuries was taken away by the police to Bulawayo Central Police station where it could not immediately be determined what offence he will be charged with. Sources who arrived at the accident scene first, claim that the Injiva looked drunk and tried to flee from the accident scene before locking himself in the vehicle when members of the public were rushing to attack him for his reckless behaviour. Zimbabweans have generally always complained of the way people driving South African registered vehicles behave on the roads. An eye witness on the accident scene who identified himself as Tawanda Sibanda echoed this sentiment claiming that the Injivas deliberately violate local traffic laws claiming that they are good drivers as they drive in Johannesburg. These Injivas think that because they drive in Johannesburg then there is something special about them, he said. They just ignore our traffic rules deliberately claiming that our local drivers can not drive. How someone decides to opposite one way traffic because they are driving a GP vehicles leaves us doubting their sanity as if thats what they do in their Johannesburg, added Sibanda.
