RECLAIMING THE OGUTA DREAM Yesterday afternoon, I had the opportunity to have lunch with some of my Oguta brothers and sisters, student union leaders and some of my social media friends who came to collect their forms: HON WILLIAMS EJIAKOR STUDENTS EMPOWERMENT SCHEME. It was easy, talking to these comrades and youths to understand their frustration. They impressed me with their dedication, their skills, and their frank acknowledgment not only of the mistakes that had been made but also of the difficulties of the task that still lay ahead. One could only marvel at the neglect and inability of this present government to essentially erect and equip community schools, pay for power(NEPA) bills, provide bursary for students of the oil rich kingdom, provide good water and motorable roads, empower and train our youths and women, make Oguta lake a tourist centre and attract industries... More than that, I was reminded of that unique quality of NDI OGUTA optimism that everywhere was on display - the absence of cynicism despite the danger, sacrifice, and seemingly interminable setbacks, the insistence that at the end of the day our actions would result in a better life for our people. OGUTA DESERVES THE BEST! In 2015, We must retire all those stealing politicians. We must say NO to imposition and intimidation. We must punish them with our Votes. We must not be their MAGA. With our votes, We Must Reclaim the lost voice. Just your Vote for #WilliamsEjiakor will reclaim the Oguta of our Dreams! OGUTA GADI MMA
