RECPDCL Merit Scholarship 2013-14 Under the REC Power Distribution Company Ltd. Scholarship Programme, Financial Assistance of INR 24,000 in total (Rs. 2000 per month) will be provided to students for the duration of one year on the basis of the following criteria: YEAR: B.Tech 2 (1st year Engineering exam should be cleared in a single attempt) STATE OF DOMICILE: Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya. ANNUAL INCOME OF PARENT: less than or equal to Rs.1,50,000/- MERIT (in terms of CGAPA): GEN- 7, SC/ST/OBC –NCL &Girls- 6.5, PC/PH-5. Candidate should apply online through registering and then log in to the RECPDCL website recpdcl.in/scholarship and REC’s website recindia or recindia.nic.in Also, the candidate has to collect the hard copy of the forms from Dean, Student Welfares’ office during office hours and submit it along with the following documents: Certificates/Documents to be sent along with the Application: i. Printout of the application (which is to be collected from deans’ office) registered online along with photo affixed on it and duly signed by the candidate. ii. Original certificate issued by the Principal/Dean/Registrar of the NIT as per the prescribed format enclosed at Annexure to the Online application. iii. Attested copy of certificate in proof of Date of Birth. iv. Attested copy of 1st Year Engineering Mark sheets. v. Original Income Certificate issued by the competent Revenue authority vi. State of Domicile Certificate of the candidate issued by the Competent Authority as per the Govt. Guidelines. vii. Attested copy of certificate for SC/ ST/ OBC–NCL, PH/PC as applicable for the candidates. viii. Duly signed check list.
