RED ELEMENT – FIRST RUNNER A WINNER! Glenlogan Park’s already impressive sire roster received yet another boost after RED ELEMENT got his stud career off to the perfect start on Tuesday with a really exciting winner from his very first starter. Lining up in the Pallarenda Stakes at Townsville, Element Of Chance absolutely second-rated his opposition in a display that saw him eased down to win untouched by 2.3 lengths. Trained out of the Fred Wieland camp, Element Of Chance is yet another new season 2YO winner that was purchased from the draft of Glenlogan Park at this year’s March Magic Millions Sale. Incredibly, that means that every single 2YO race run in Queensland this year has been won by a graduate of Glenlogan’s draft from that sale – with Grapevine, Vienna Royale and Stroak all being predecessors to Element Of Chance’s impressive debut. The Red Element youngster jumped well and positioned himself up 4th in the running before pulling out from the behind the leaders heels as they straightened and then flattening out to easily overhaul his opponents in the drive to the line and win with his ears pricked. It was the ideal start for a stallion who seemingly now has the world at his feet. A magnificent looking specimen, Red Element carries all the bloodlines, ability and physical attributes needed to be a raging stud success and he has been given plenty of opportunity as well. Having served 362 mares in his first three seasons in the breeding barn, Red Element will have plenty of runners out there over the coming years. And, if his first runner is anything to go by, those years look set to be very fruitful indeed.
