RED TAYLOR INC. 2014 CLASS: SLEEPERS: Jordan Furlow 6’2” (Speedway) - fastest guard Red Taylor has seen in a long time (Johnny Robinson type speed with the ball). Needs work on jump shot Justin Mitchell 6’2” (Ft. Wayne Wayne) - This Kid Red and Rob really like, He is a smooth ball player, can score and sees the floor. He is playing out of position with all guards on his High school team. Put some scorers with him and you will love him. High IQ. Tye Wilburn 5’9” (Lake Central) - Very fast, quick and smart player Justin Baker 5’9” (Cathedral) - very good point guard, starting @ Cathedral. He has got a lot of range on his jumper. CJ Coleman 6’1” (Mt. Vernon) - great point guard leader, very shifty with the ball. Better player off the ball. Whit Rapp 6’ (Guerin Catholic) - Best passer in his class, runs his team and is very smart. He needs to score more, he tends to pass up a lot of shots, but he has started to score in the middle of this season. Bo Burkhart 5’9” (Evansville Bosse) - good guard, nice shooter, and very smart (Coaches Son) COMBO GUARDS: Grant Sims 6’ (Bloomington North) - point guard, needs more time right now Saikou Jallow 6’2” (Bloomington North) - scorer first, but can switch and run the point if needed. FORWARDS: Perry Poindexter 6’7” (North Central) - tall, long and needs some weight on him. Moves well, but not yet a wing player, and to skinny to be big time inside player. Terrell Davis 6’5” (Lawrence North) - Athlete, versatile player, can play 3 positions, and can guard anyone Jordan Garnett 6’5” (Warren Central)-Best Defender in his class, along with (Mike Jones) Rashawn Richardson 6’7” (Tech) - young, tall, athletic, they need to play him more with Lyles, instead of as his back-up. Zach McRoberts 6’6” (Carmel) - getting better every time I see him. Lukayus McNeil 6’7” (Decatur Central) - Big, Strong Player, good around the basket----worth a peek. Aaron Korn 6’4” (Frankton) – Shooter, needs work on his handle. He plays small forward/power forward now. Limited defender. Mike Jones 6’5” (Tech)-Great defender, long athletic, transition finisher, but need work on jumper (keeps his elbow out, which throws off his outside shot.) Jaraan Lands 6’5” (Warren Central)- not sure , WC played him @ 2 guard, but found that he plays better @ the forward position. He had trouble with seeing the open man.
