REDISTRICTING in AMERICA Rant#2: In 2010, America was redistricted by a Repbulican Congress, Republican State Legislatures, Republican activists and Tea Party conservatives in virtually every state. There is software called MAPTITUDE produced by CALIPER CORPORATION which was used by virtually every redistricting activist in 2010. It is easy to use, it is nearly universal in demographic scope...and in its very promotional package it touts the ease of the program in identifying racial voting blocks geographically and offers substantial tools for the disabling of such voting blocks. The result of such disabling is the negation of a million plus majority of votes for Democratic candidates across the country for Congressional seats, thereby allowing for an overwhelming majority of Republicans and Tea Party members in the new Congress. Racial Gerrymandering is illegal. And yet, that is precisely what this program does. And yet...no one in the Dept of Justice seems to care. Again, I must call for the firing of Eric Holder and his entire regime of non-prosecuting political appointees. Former Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy took on the MAFIA, but Holder wont even take on blatant civil rights violation. It sickens me. jgh
