REEFER SADNESS The U.S. Government has been waging a war on Cannabis (aka marijuana) for well over 75 years. Theyve managed to brainwash a good percentage of the population into believing that its a dangerous gateway drug which must be outlawed. And in spite of the fact that your average pot smoker is not a lawbreaker, and in many cases model citizens, this misconception has stayed in place. Although there appears to be widespread support for Cannabis legalization/decriminalization, nobody seems outraged that police are rounding up sick patients and throwing them in jail for using their medicine, except of course the patients and the families themselves. Nor is there a public outcry regarding the removal of children from Cannabis patients homes, even though this disrupts a childs development. It seems that the law can do whatever the hell they want to us and the public fails to come to our aid. So why, pray tell, do Cannabis supporters think that this war will end any time soon? Somewhere Over The Rainbow....
